ARSETUP1, 2 AND 3 - There are three setup entries covering vehicles A (ACURA) through V (VW). Each entry shows how to setup the AR system for a specific vehicle immobilizer. Specified are the vehicle make model and applicable years. The required adapter and configuration (switches, plug position, etc.) including voltage is also shown plus the device type. You place the cursor on the configuration line and press F6. The librarian will perform an automatic system update. B4USTART (Before You Start) - Complete instructions which describes how to confirm that you are properly attached to the device and that you are able to read valid data. Step by step instructions are provided. CHRHX2PIN - Displays a built-in Chrysler HEX to PIN translation table. This table allows you to translate the HEX pin values read from the immobilizer to the actual DECIMAL pin code. DELCO - Complete instructions for reflashing a Toyota ECU manufactured by Delco. This procedure when used with the Delco photo sequence will show you exactly what to do. DELCO_EX - Provides an example of data (bin file) read from a Delco ECU. In the example the location of the Master and Valet keys are shown. Based on this information you may add keys values directly into file to be programmed back into the ECU. GMPIN_EX - Provides an example which shows where the PIN is located in the data field for specific (model and year) GM vehicles. HONDA - Reflash and ECU synchronization instructions for RED|BLACK key Honda and Acura vehicles. The reflash file must be used the the RED and BLACK keys provided with a locksmith kit. HONDA_EX - Provides a bin file example which shows where the black and red key strings are located. With this information you may manually enter new or change existing key string values. HOW2PRGM - This entry provides an instruction summary for Toyota and Lexus reflashing including settings, steps and results. | HOW2SAVE - Provides step-by-step instructions for saving the contents of an immobilizer or ECU to a file. These instructions can also be used if you plan to pass the file to a transponder programmer to make a key. IMMO_NEW - This is set of virgin Toyota immobilizer files. This set is not the same as the reflash files. These have been extracted from new immobilizers which are identified by the immobilizer model number. If you have an existing immobilizer which is corrupt or already programmed use these files to restore to factory new. IZUZU_EX - Provides a bin file read from an IZUZU immobilizer which shows where the PIN code is located. With this information you may read any IZUZU immobilizer and easily locate the PIN. LEXUS - This entry is the complete reflash procedure and files for all compatible LEXUS vehicles. This procedure is described above (EXAMPLE2) in the Locksmith Librarian. Follow the procedure step-by-step for a simple, successful reflash. MAKE_KEY - This entry first provides the background for how a transponder based vehicle works. It then follows with the steps necessary to create a key using a transponder programmer. MASK2PRT - Provides an automatic selection of the correct device based on a microcontroller mask number. EXAMPLE: You determine that the microcontroller on an ECU is E28B. To set the correct device you press TAB then place the selection cursor on the line with E28B. You then Press F6. The system automatically changes the device to 68HC11E9. PACIFICA- Provides a step-by-step procedure to locate the PIN in any Chrysler vehicle which uses the Pacifica immobilizer system. This procedure will automatically locate the pin regardless of which eeprom is used in the immobilizer. Also provided is an example immobilizer file which you can load. With the file loaded perform the procedure and see the actual PIN. SAAB_CIM - This entry allows you to virginize a Saab CIM module. It also explains how to add keys to the virginized module using a transponder programmer and Tech2 tool. |
SETVOLTS -
This entry is specifically for use with the ASERSM1A in-circuit adapter. Provided are guidelines for setting the adapter to the proper voltage for success with the different families of eeprom parts. This information is very useful if you are unsure about how to proceed with an in-circuit read. Also provided are suggestions if you need to depart from the general guidelines. SKIM_EX - Provides an example describing how to locate the encrypted HEX values which represent the module PIN. Also described is how to use the CHRHX2PN table to translate the HEX codes to the DECIMAL PIN plus an editor trick to easily point to the HEX codes. SCRM_NEW - This entry will allow you to virginize a SERIES 1 SKREEM module to the original factory (like new) settings. TOYEARLY - This entry contains files which can be used to reflash or make keys for some 1997-1998 Toyota vehicles. Certain (early) vehicles have ECU based immobilizers which will accept a standard reflash file but will not allow keys to be learned or will not enter learn mode. Information in this entry will provide guidance to address these vehicles. TOYNOTES - This is a collection of short bits of information provided by our locksmith customers regarding Toyota vehicles. TOYOTA - This entry is the complete reflash procedure and files for all compatible TOYOTA vehicles. This procedure is described above (EXAMPLE2) in the Locksmith Librarian. Follow the procedure step-by-step for a simple, successful reflash. TWICE_EX - Provides an example of a data (bin file) read from a Saab TWICE module. Identified are the addresses where the two key sequences are stored. URDONE (You Are Done) - After a Toyota or Lexus reflash has been completed and the ECU or immobilizer has been reinstalled in the vehicle, new keys must be introduced through the learn cycle. Once the learn cycle is complete it must be closed. The procedures for introducing the keys, closing the learn cycle plus synchronizing a black box immozilizer to the ECU are all provided. WV_EX and VALEO_EX - Both provide an example bin file read from VW immobilizers which show where the PIN nummber is stored. Also described is how to change a HEX value to a DECIMAL value |
