QUICK LAUNCH INTERFACE includes HIGH SPEED ExpressCard and SOFTWARE on BOOTABLE USB drive
The Quick Launch Interface provides a high-speed connection option for the AR-32A programming unit to a portable host machine with an ExpressCard slot. The Quick Launch package includes both a High Speed Interface Card plus our latest software installed on a USB drive. Since the card connects to the processor bus, it provides two unique operational options: you can perform a standard Windows install or you can run a complete programmer/software system, including all kits, outside of the Windows environment (Windows not running). With this option you insert the card and USB drive into the host machine and reboot. The system boots from the USB drive and allows you to perform any operation you choose. Since the USB drive is the system drive you may load or save files to archive or transfer. (

AccuTouch PROBE FOR FAST IN-CIRCUIT EEPROM WORK
The AccuTouch probe is designed as a quick-connect option for in-circuit reading and progamming of 8 pin SOIC serial eeproms. The probe can be used as an alternative to the traditional surface mount clip. The probe is fabricated using spring loaded pins each with a 4 point crown tip. The 4 point tip will penetrate a typical layer of sealant without cleaning. The probe is fabricated with an alignment notch which is placed over the chip package. Once in place, you press straight down allowing the notch to straddle the eeprom while the pins contact the leads. The probe is held in place for reading and programming operations.

Subaru BIU Probe Set eliminates the difficult task of desoldering or connecting to the module micro eeprom
The Subaru BIU (Body Integrated Unit) incorporates a micro eeprom (MSOP package) which, because of its very small size, poses a challenge for both desoldering or direct connection. The probe set is specifically designed to address accessing this part with a simple four connection procedure. The part is easily read in-circuit by pressing two pin-point probes into the circuit assembly plus attaching two standard probes to an existing board test connector. Once the probes are attached (less than 60 seconds) the read operation is completed by pressing two keys. The BIU Probe Set includes the probes, laminated card with step-by-step instructions and photos of the connection points, plus a hinged lid storage case.

LOGIC/TEST PROBE HELPS SOLVE IN-CIRCUIT PROGRAMMING PROBLEMS
Andromeda Research products are designed for in-circuit reading/programming (parts are not removed from the board) of EEPROMS and microcontrollers whenever possible. Although rare, there are instances where in-circuit access is inhibited due to excessive circuit loading by components or connections on the target assembly. The programming system will limit drive current to avoid damaging assembly components. In most cases there is a pin or pins on the target part which causes the problem. The purpose of the LOGIC/TEST PROBE is to identify which pin(s) present the in-circuit load. Once identified, the offending pin can be isolated or lifted which prevents the need to unsolder the entire part. The LP-1 addresses the loading issue by allowing you to test each pin for in-circuit compatibility. (
