PROGRAM DEVICE FROM BUFFER
program device from buffer
This command allows you to program a device(s) from data contained in the system's buffer. In its primary form, the command programs a single device beginning with the first address in the buffer.

Command Options

1. User defined start address - This option allows you to specify the buffer starting and ending addresses which will be programmed into the device.

2. Program device in series - This option allows you to specify a device to program from its position in a series of devices. Example: If you load a file which contains data which is to be programmed into four 2764 eproms and you wish to program only the third device, you specify device number three in the series. The system will automatically calculate the offset for the data which corresponds to the third device and allows it to be programmed.

3. Program a series of devices - This option allows you to specify the number of devices you wish to program from data in the buffer. Example: If you load a file which contains data which is to be programmed into four 2764 eproms and you wish to program only the first three devices, you specify three devices. The system will automatically prompt for the insertion of each 2764 until all three have been programmed.
