This command offers two selections. The
first allows you to exit the program and return to the
operating system. You are requested to confirm the exit
request before it is processed. The second gives you
access to the system configuration file (see graphic). If
a configuration file does not exist, one may be created.
The configuration file allows you to save the following
system parameters: PATH, FILE,
DEVICE, DISPLAY
(color or monochrome) and PORT. You may also direct the system to
automatically execute a COMMAND when the
program starts. This automatic command execution feature
not only allows you to specify a path, file and device,
but also choose which system function you wish to
perform. The configuration file is created and edited by
the system software. There is no need to exit to an
outside editor. You may also capture the current system
configuration with a single key stroke. NOTE: The PORT parameter allows you to easily setup the system to use a high-speed ExpressCard or PCMCIA interface as the communication address (PORT) is saved in the configuration file. |
