| Precision Surface Mount Probe Set |
The precision surface mount probe set is specifically designed to provide a solution for connecting to ultra-fine pitch (TSSOP and QFP) surface mount parts which are too small for the SMP8. Each colored probe is constructed using a rigid, stainless steel sleeve with an insulated exterior coating. This allows each probe to be placed side by side without the fear of a short circuit. The probe mechanism itself works in a manner whereby the sleeve actually retracts into the body shell exposing the spring steel pincher jaws. This design insures a positive contact when released without undue stress on the mechanism. Although delicate, if used correctly each probe will provide exceptional service life. The precision surface mount probe assembly mates with the standard terminator (included) and is compatible with the ASERSM1, ASEREE2 plus the ACOM1 or ACOM2. |
